But at least you can use Atmos or Windows Sonic or others.īut to do this, you have to open Device Manager and expand the “Sound, video, game controllers” section. Basically G Hub doesn’t recognize the headset so you can’t configure the Blue microphone settings or anything else. Unfortunately, if you use the generic driver you lose all access to the Logitech G Hub software for the headset.at least until you put the Logitech driver back. Is this something that could be updated in the Logitech driver to allow? Anyone else run into this issue with this headset or similar headsets? ![]() Basically, it seems that this headset (at least its current Logitech driver) does not allow other spatial sounds. This wouldn't normally be an issue since the spatial sounds will control the sound but I'd like to use the Blue Voice technology and it's only available through the G Hub app. However, because of this, G Hub no longer recognizes the headset. I did this and all of the spatial sounds work perfectly. Looked online for similar issues and found a post about changing the Logitech driver to a generic Windows USB Audio Device driver. ![]() ![]() Get the same error when attempting to change any spatial sounds. Downloaded the DTS Unbound app (because I heard it might sound a little better than the DTS built-in to G Hub) and the same problem. I turned off surround sound in G Hub, tried to select Windows Sonic in the spatial sound options but get an error "Something went wrong while trying to turn on spatial sound." I downloaded Dolby Access and enabled Dolby Atmos for Headphones, still the same issue when trying to select it. However, I wanted to give Dolby Atmos for Headphones and Windows Sonic for Headphones a try to see how they do with this new set. Just got the new G Pro X Wireless headset and G Hub recognized/installed the driver fine.
